🚀 Our young scientists launched into action today! After learning how rockets work and exploring two different launch methods, our OWL elementary students put their knowledge to the test by shooting off rockets today at Delaware Ridge Elementary. Even better? A few of their peers got to enjoy the exciting display during recess! 🌟
We’ve been having so much fun in music class! Our 5th graders recently learned a lively hand clapping game from the Caribbean before moving on to playing chords on the ukulele. Meanwhile, our 2nd graders are busy preparing for their upcoming music program by learning a colorful scarf dance. It's been wonderful to see the students engage with music in creative ways!

Spirit Day Fun!

Our students went all out, dressing up in their pod colors, channeling their favorite celebrities, and bringing beloved storybook characters to life. In addition to using the Apptegy app, we encourage you to stay informed about school-wide news and updates by reading the Brave Bulletin. This weekly newsletter will be sent to your email and will provide you with essential information about Edwardsville Elementary.

We welcomed all staff back this week with the annual USD 204 Convocation event! We heard from our friends at the Chamber of Commerce, the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Education Foundation distributed Walmart gift cards to all teachers, counselors, and nurses, and First State Bank & Trust presented the district with earnings from the School Spirit Debit Card Program! The event wrapped up with celebrations, honoring our longest-serving staff and welcoming the new faces to our USD 204 family. Finally, Superintendent Rick Moulin shared his vision for the year ahead, and staff shared their own excitement to be entering a new BRAVE era!
